Install on your Mac

Download SideNook from sidenook.dev/download. The ZIP contains a single .app bundle. Drag it to your Applications folder, then right-click and choose Open (do not double-click the first time).

SideNook Mobile (iPhone & iPad)

SideNook Mobile is available on the App Store. Make sure your Mac and iPhone are on the same Wi-Fi network. Open SideNook on the Mac first, then launch the mobile app. Your Mac should appear automatically via Bonjour discovery.

Trouble finding your Mac

  • Confirm your Mac and iPhone are on the same Wi-Fi network.
  • Check that local network access is allowed on the iPhone (Settings → SideNook Mobile).
  • Make sure the Mac is awake and running SideNook.
  • Restart the Mac app and try again.

What to include in a bug report

  • Your device model and OS version (macOS or iOS).
  • What you expected to happen.
  • What happened instead.
  • If reporting a mobile issue: iPhone model, iOS version, and Mac model.
